“Elements” in the Tevis Gallery
The four elements play a leading role in the creative life of the artists in this exhibit. Earth, Air, Fire, and Water all mix in a wondrous formula to end up as pigments, clay, wood, and metals. Artists include Maggie Ball, found objects from nature; Nicole Diem and Alex Simms, ceramics; Charlotte Laslo, metalsmithing; Virginia Vincent Sperry, rust photography and sculpture; Thomas Sterner, wood and various artists from The Art of Fire Contemporary Glass Studio.
“Inspired by Pearls” in the Community Gallery
The Four County Quilters Guild challenge this year was to create a quilt inspired by the theme of a pearl. This challenge commemorates their 30th year as a guild. Twenty -three quilters will be represented in this winter warmer pearl-inspired exhibit.
